Our client, a global telecommunications company, was looking for a way to enable their sales channel of over 3000 representatives. Their objective was to improve Brand Awareness, create Brand Loyalty and, thereby, increase sales and market share.

To help them reach their goals, Maritz developed a month-long incentive program to motivate Sales Reps to sell more of our client’s products. It was based on a baseball theme and employed a fun spin and win Flash game on the web.
The rules were relatively simple: for every valid sale, the salespeople earned one “spin”. Each spin was guaranteed to be worth a minimum of $5…and a winning spin could be worth a lot more.
Game prizes included American Express gift cards of up to $1,000, ballots toward a sports getaway package valued at $2000, VIP seats to a ball game of their choice and more.

- The program had an 80% engagement rate, the highest of any incentive for this group so far
- While the program was running, device sales rose almost 40% and sales per Representative rose by 165%
