We are dedicated to making Maritz a safe place for all our employees, clients and guests. By keeping our building, property and facilities safe, we are deliberate in preventing accidents and injuries. But, if the unexpected happens, we’re ready. Our health & safety committee members are all trained in first aid and linked by speed dial to quickly help in an emergency.


what we care about

  • we want our employees and guests to enjoy a safe and healthy environment. We do this by taking care of our building, but also by letting employees know how they can limit exposure to illness and avoid accidents. We also work to promote safe workplace processes and take care to address concerns quickly before they become problems

we mean what we say

  • all health & safety committee members are trained in first aid and are alerted to an emergency by speed dial
  • first-aid kits around the building include 5 cut kits, 4 premium first-aid kits, and an oxygen tank and defibrillator. The kits are checked regularly to ensure they are complete
  • we educate our employees through presentations, company-wide emails and utilization of the health & safety bulletin board
