Most companies don’t celebrate New Year’s Day on the first day of the fiscal, let alone have their executive teams greet employees at the door with breakfast and good wishes. Most companies don’t ring a bell to call everyone together to celebrate a big success and the people who made it happen. Most people don’t dress their leadership teams up in full superhero regalia to make the point that anything is possible. We’re okay with that. We’re not most companies, we’re us. Being us means celebrating the magnificent…and the every day.

  • employees spend way too much time at work to not have fun and enjoy themselves with colleagues. At Maritz, we have a great balance of work and play. To support our culture, we have a large outdoor patio, a pool table, gym and a cafeteria where people can gather throughout the day. We host live TV feeds for special occasions such as the World Cup and the Olympics

special initiatives

employee golf tournament (August)
  • our golf tournament draws enthusiastic participation and has had maximum participation each year. It’s not just about the golf score: people come for the fun, camaraderie and costumes. Yes…costumes. We end the day with dinner and an awards ceremony
Halloween (October)
  • Halloween is serious business at Maritz...seriously. Maritz’ Halloween event involves some friendly competition, and includes decorating and pumpkin-carving contests, Tarot card readings, and individual and team costume competitions

 

employee holiday party (December)
  • the holiday party is an elegant event with creative theming and décor that draws employees and their partners to come out and celebrate the holiday season
employee and kids' holiday party (December)
  • the kids' holiday party is an event our employees’ kids look forward to each year. The afternoon includes a visit from Santa, gifts, games, crafts, facepainting, entertainment and snacks. Our kids smile for days
