AIM (Active Impressions in Marketing) is acquired and amalgamated with Maritz to form Maritz Canada Inc. |

Maritz brings first points card using debit technology to Canadian marketplace |

We acquire Thompson Lightstone, a leading research provider. Later renamed Maritz Research Canada |
| 2001 |
Steve Maritz becomes Chairman of Maritz Inc., our parent company based in St. Louis, Missouri. He is the 4th generation of the Maritz family to lead the company. Additionally, the Maritz Canada head office opens at 6900 Maritz Drive in Mississauga, Ontario |
